An ok shoe -
Seems like a great shoe till you try to take it off. The shoelaces don't loosen easily (even after a couple of weeks). My guess is the laces will wear out in a couple of months due to all the friction. A pricey shoe considering…

I Can't Believe They Fit -
I have the hardest time finding shoes that fit me. I have a hard time finding my size 14 in the shoe stores. Not only did these shoes fit perfectly right out of the box, the Zappos website has many styles in my size. I will be using Zappos again for sure.

Best pair of shoes I have owned -
First time buyer of merrell, suggested by many of my patients!!! Out of the box most comfortable shoes I have worn, and I am on my feet all day long. I bought 2 different styles of merrell's at one time and can’t say anything bad about either pair. Zappos is the best at confirming the order, and receiving the order in less than 24 hours without paying extra! My only suggestion to anyone ordering merrell shoes is that wide sizes run wider than any other shoe I have ever tried.

Comfortable! I hadn't found any shoe that didn't leave my feet aching after work. I'm on my feet a lot during work and found these have the most arch support and cushion at the heel than any other shoe I've had. Plenty of toe room as well. I'm planning on buying another pair or two!

A Winner for a picky, picky Hubby -
My husband hates shopping so getting shoes or anything for that matter can be pretty difficult. I've had my eye on these for awhile and finally decided to order them because of the rave reviews here and elsewhere. Because of our work, we have to stand for long periods of time; these gave him support and comfort he needed. Next to his Birks, they're his new favorite shoe and likes them so much we’re ordering another pair!

Great shoes - These are better than I expected. They fit and feel great. The traction is just what I needed for hiking and climbing steep hills. They are very light, which makes them perfect for daily wear.

Working Shoe - I needed to replace a pair of old Timberlands that I use in woodworking shop (I am a furniture maker/designer). I have a concrete floor and it is hot and humid in Memphis. I needed shoes that would breathe and withstand some abuse. Well, I ordered on a Saturday night at 9 o'clock using the free snail mail method. They shipped on Sunday and arrived on Monday. They fit. I love the shoes but more than that I love Zappos. I now have the model for "Give the customer more than they expect."

My husband’s new job -
My husband started a new job that involved constantly walking on concrete floors. His legs and feed would be hurting terribly at the end of each day. A friend suggested we purchase a pair of Merrell's and it was a tremendous idea. He loves these shoes!

Light and comfortable -
I'm on the waiting list to get more of these shoes. Best shoes I've bought in a couple years. They are rugged, light and have great grippy soles. Although I've only had them a few weeks the soles still look new. Please get some more of these in stock in my size.

Awesome shoe, awesome service! Great shoe so far! True to size, the width was great (I ordered a wide size shoe), and they've been extremely comfortable. I've always crammed my caveman-like feet into shoes made for non-caveman-like feet, so it was nice to see Zappos carried a large variety of wide-sized shoes. The Ventilators were put through some extreme tests during their first two weeks while I was exploring the mine dumps of Michigan's Copper Country. They held up extremely well, provided great support and comfort, and took the beating I put them through admirably. All around, an excellent shoe so far. Also, the service from Zappos has been unparalleled. I returned three different styles/sizes of shoes before settling on the Merrells and every return went flawlessly. Excellent service, excellent selection, overall an excellent experience. The only word of caution I have is that the shoes generally appear to be darker than they actually are on Zappos' web site, so I would search for other internet photos of the particular shoe you are interested in before ordering. Otherwise, Zappos rules!

Great Trail Shoe -
Used this pair for a long weekend backpack of 25mi. and peak bagging. The shoes had great traction and support on all types trail conditions from sand to light mud. They also are great everyday shoes. Very comfortable.

Great hiker after break-in -
These hikers are very comfortable once they are broken in. Great sole for hiking with lots of grip. I found the heel area to feel narrow and somewhat stiff when I first wore them, but after wearing several times they broke in like slippers.

Size inconsistent -
I purchased 3 pairs of this sneaker. The first pair was a perfect fit. The subsequent 2 pairs I ordered are slightly narrower at the base of the sneaker causing discomfort at the base of the sneaker. I will keep one pair and exchange the other for the same style. Hopefully the new pair will fit like the original pair I purchased.

Merrell Wins Again -
I've been a Merrell fan for years and have to say that this shoe keeps me in the fold. Very comfortable, stylish, practical and reasonably priced. I'm sure I'll love them as much as I have loved the Jungle Moc (4 pair) and the World Passport (2 pair). I was given a pair of Solomon’s and returned them for a different size, but chose these instead. I'm glad I did.
